Metropolis from Lladro at Pacific Jewellers, Lambton Quay, Wellington

The team at Lambton Quay are excited as their latest shipment has now arrived in store. The stunning collection of a porcelain city called Metropolis.

Metropolis is the current collection from the Spanish porcelain company Lladro Atelier. It is a collection of functional pieces such as vases, lamps, mirrors and boxes, all in the shapes of buildings; creating an architectural paradise of timeless elegance. All come with removable lids and have compartments so they become adaptable pieces in your home.

There are seven styles all available in nine different colours, the tones are monochromatic and applied in a way that is a hallmark of handcrafted work at Lladro. From grey to yellow through to the green or white; all colours work well together to create original compositions.

Whist Lladro porcelain is known for its highly glazed and hand painted figurines, this matte and meticulously carved textures showcase the artistic skill and technical strength of the Lladro designs.

Lambton Quay have created a small city of these stunning pieces, including a beautiful two toned lamp which shows off the translucent quality of the porcelain. If you wish to order other pieces not in store, Pacific Jewellers receive two shipments a year direct from Spain.
